June makes

So the website has been up and running for over a month now and I am loving creating and making new designs for friends and my kids friends!

I haven’t promoted loads at the minute as I’ve been busy with the Raring2go! Sheffield & Rotherham summer issue. It’s now out in schools and libraries across the area and can also be viewed onilne HERE.

I can now jump back on and share with you some of the cool stuff I have made in June.

Leavers T-shirts are all the rage, leaving primary school or finishing school for good. I wanted to create something for my 11-year old as a keepsake that he could get all his Y6 friends and teachers to sign. So I bought a white t-shirt to test the waters and added his school name, year and name in vinyl so that there was plenty of space for writing. I shared with the school mums and have had a few orders, below are just a few of the t-shirts I have done this month.

Water Bottles are great to reduce the use of single use plastic bottles and the aluminium ones I have been making are fab for keep drinks cold at the same time. Recent makes, include Stitch, SUFC, SWFC and even an Albanian bottle for my sons friend for his birthday.

Football Cards are so popular as a gift, I remember my son getting one a few years ago from a friend and he loved it! So I decided to test the water as a gift for a friends child. Well I was so impressed with the result I decided to add them to the shop. I even attended a party today and gave one as a gift, the party host wants to order one as he couldn’t find any local suppliers that he felt he could trust!

I made some personalised Bucket Hats for a holiday for a friends 50th (14 of us in total!). I wanted to make the birthday boy a hat to make him stand out, and also something we could all wear to celebrate the milestone! So I made us reversible hats with Nicks 50th on one side and SUFC badge on the reverse. Honestly, they literally got wore all holiday. I really wanted to promote and sell but wanted to test to ensure they stood up to daily use and boy the defo did!

So last year I then made another one for a friend of my sons (SWFC this time) and again it was well received. This month a mum at school asked if I could make her son an Albanian one so he could wear to support his team in the Euros.

I am loving the variety, different things I can make and am continue to learn and find new things.

Bring on July, let’s see what amazing creations are coming this month!
